Can everyone in the UK get their heads around the fact that 'pressing charges' is a US thing and has no basis in UK law? The CPS decide whether to prosecute or not. They might consult you but ultimately it's out of your hands.

I wish that last line was remembered more. There's huge swathes of football outside the 'money', with many clubs doing brilliant work in their community. I despair that many ignore this, in their latest essays on why football's 'falling apart'. It isnt. It just is at the highest level.

I agree with most of this. I think it misses how Brits, in particular, often sneered at any imported from 'Europe', throughout the 80s and 90s. When I was growing up, watching a subtitled film, was often derided, in the press and in wider society. Its no surprise kids nowadays have been steered 1/

There's been years of inaction, barring a lot of shouting. The SGP could've (should've) forced it, even without the BHA. I'm done with it all tbh. Give us a shout when actual progress happens, and councils find multiple ways of raising revenue, without hammering residents.

If only there was a party, that had an agreement with them, that could've used said agreement to force change through, when they had they chance?

The SNP have been terrible, agreed. But there seems to be only one way councils find extra revenue - piling increases on their residents.
