What a fabulous idea. “The particularity of a poem …reminds me how to look for repetition and snags elsewhere, to hear both text and subtext”

So sorry this has happened to you and to Floridian youth who won’t get two read these great books from the library
Welp. There's EVERYTHING I NEVER TOLD YOU and LITTLE FIRES EVERYWHERE, marked as "remove from all libraries" as of October. 🙃
Clay updated their review database with the decisions for the nearly 50 objections filed last month.

Every single one of them was either restricted or removed.

These decisions were made without reading the books and without a public review committee.

New year, same meds: 50 mg of sertraline (generic Zoloft).

SSRIs have been a big help for me.

Sometimes I chirp about them -- and therapy, which was also a game-changer -- on social media to do my part to chip away at the stigma around mental health care, especially for men.

Not only ouchie but those cholla spines are barbed at the end and hurt to pull out, leaving a drop of blood. No touchie!
Another good day. I found a new favorite sunset spot in Arizona and got to see a lot of my favorite cholla, the teddy bear cholla. Looks fluffy from a distance, up close it's very much no-touchie-ouchie, thank you.
