Arrested for holding a sign. A SIGN.

A sign that opposes GENOCIDE.

No one was hurt by holding a sign. No damages were caused by holding a sign.

But Reform rioters are let off? Get a grip, Labour.
Greta Thunberg arrested for holding a sign opposing genocide.

When peaceful protest is a crime, democracy is in deep trouble.

Happening under a Labour Government.

Millionaire farmers escape inheritance tax. And everybody else has to sell their homes to pay for their social care?

Okey dokey.

Farage’s past racist comments are revealing - but ultimately become secondary to the larger issue:

The party he's built from the ground up to incubate rotten apples.
Reform UK Doesn’t Just Have a Racism Problem - It Has a Racism Infrastructure
Why focusing on Farage’s past misses how racism is incentivised, normalised and repeatedly rewarded in the present

I’m sure the “protect our women and girls” brigade will have plenty to say about this👍🏼

There are indeed some parts of our society that don’t treat women properly…

Here is a former TORY Councillor (and 5 OTHER men) charged with the rape and sexual assault of HIS WIFE

We're keen to challenge the predicate to the case brought by the (revoltingly homophobic) Christian Institute: that upholding the rights of those protected by the Equality Act is a contestable and political stance. So, thanks, I guess to them.
Supporting LGBT+ rights is political in a way that breaches the civil service code and opposing them is not political in a way that precludes charitable status is a... complex position to hold, although one managed by former LGBA hate group with charitable status trustee Kathleen Stock.

Greta Thunberg being arrested this morning for holding a sign which says "I support Palestine Action prisoners. I oppose genocide"

What happened to freedom of protest?

We declare anybody we don't like a 'terrorist'.

Censorship is major step on the path toward an authoritarian regime. Cancelling an important 60 Minutes piece on the very real brutality being experienced by imprisoned people has lit a 4 alarm fire.

It was hard to convince Americans torture is wrong as a moral principle during Bush's term, and that was with the debate about whether torture makes us safer. I'm afraid for a portion of Trump's base, that calculation matters less. Idea of torturing undocumented immigrants may even bring pleasure.

Why doesn't the media talk about Sudan?

Sudan is bleeding. A child killed every two hours. Sudan's war has set off the world's largest crisis, as the fighting continues to devastate lives and livelihoods.

Suella Braverman’s parents emigrated (those horrible economic migrants not from a war zone she hates).

She went to Cambridge for free and didn’t collect £27k debt like everyone else. Scrounger.

She used the Erasmus scheme to study in France. Which she has blocked.

Horrible.

According to this, Chris Rea had fairly robust opinions on the "business implications" of Brexit.

But it's confusing singer Chris Rea with a completely different person.

Few facts about the Palestine Action protesters on Hunger Strike

1. They never attacked anyone with sledgehammers (That was a different group)
2. They didn't commit aggravated burglary, they didn't attack anyone, they didn't even steal anything
3. They shouldn't be in jail

I really think this borders on disinformation. Someone actively thought: "NAH. Too positive. Let's feed the discord angle."
Incredible. This morning on the BBC site story was titled "Puppy farm ban promised in plans to improve animal welfare" with puppy pic up top. Later changed to "Hen cages and pig crates face ban" and gives top focus to policy's opponents. The puppy/RSPCA angle is 20 paragraphs in, as "meanwhile". ~AA
