It boils down to what you think is more effective:
1. Shut up about detransitioners, they're a minority so they don't matter.
2. Sometimes people detransition, and when they do, they need many of the same things as trans people, so it would be better for everyone to reduce gatekeeping.

Incidentally, GCs weaponise trans people saying the detrans should not be listened to under any circumstances all the time. They point and say "See? See?! They're hiding detransitioners! They're silencing them! What are they hiding?!?!"
