Working Americans (many of them disabled) pay into Social Security for their entire career out of recognition that these protections are what we owe one another, especially our disabled and aging neighbors. Making SSA harder to access is theft from those who've paid into SSA to protect their future.

Disabled Americans deserve a functioning Social Security system, and are already suffering from these changes. Should DOGE be allowed to carry out Elon Musk's plan to reduce SSA capacity by more than 50%, it will harm and kill countless disabled people.
