I'm sick of people treating the spectator like a normal news journal with the occasional controversial piece instead of the dangerous shit rag it is. Do you think these people would read the Mail and nod sagely if it just had better cartoonists?
It's the exact same stuff, just aimed at posh people

The murder of Charlie Kirk was criminal, wrong, and should be condemned.

And Charlie Kirk was a horrible, hateful man who spent his life radicalizing young people to embrace their worst demons by targeting women, people of color, immigrants, and the marginalized.

I refuse to sanitize him.

A glitch in the matrix means that I haven't blogged for a couple of weeks so this is my attempt to bring everything up to date. July stats As I said above I rad one book, which was Sleeper Beach by Nick Harkaway.

After a reading-packed June, July has started slowly. I have been a reading a little but took a while to settle down to anything specific. So no books read this past week but progress made on a couple of things and of course some new books entered the chat! Currently reading: Money in the Morgue by Ngaio Marsh & Stella Duffy - I've made most progress with this one though I'm still only 10% in.

I am still buying more than I am reading and am considering a slow buy for the second half of the year - for me that means only pre-orders and absolutely must-haves that I haven't been aware of in time to pre-order.

Hi everybody. Just a note: I hate Lindsey Graham too, but can we knock it off with the homophobic slurs? I know you think you're being clever, but a lot of what's been said is basically "Lindsey is bad because he might be gay," and that's not okay. Thank you.
