This thread is great. Excellent example of reframing and giving grace to someone generally seen in a negative light.
I am not a Christian of course but like all Americans I have spent my life marinating in Christian mythography, and so around this time of year I have a lot of thoughts about the Nativity and the part where the innkeeper says there's no room in the inn.

Today is a bad day in particular for any woman who has dealt with harassment, rape, domestic violence of any kind and had our attempts to get help dismissed or turned back in our faces. I'm consistently so angry - for my own past, as well as others going thru it. Society failed us.

I don't understand any rhyme or reason to the organization or provenance of the various tranches of Epstein Files, but they clearly contain tons of raw investigative materials of dubious reliability/value and—at the risk of being a huge buzzkill—we all should exercise some careful discernment

ICE agents illegally break into a woman's bathroom in a NY nutrition bar manufacturing plant. "Pull up your pants," says a male agent. The agents only had a warrant to review employer documents. They didn't have a warrant to search for, detain, or arrest anyone there.
