Neighbours set up their living room with lights, festive decor and balloons shaped like the numbers 2026. I saw it from the outside, the 6 was kind of hidden by a Christmas tree.
I spent some time staring at it and wondering whether or not to call the police, to report the most joyful "SOS" ever.

I miss those days when, on the way to work, we bonded over our shared experiences and kicked the driver off the bus. There was a true sense of commutiny.

Mòlìhuā was the first Chinese folk song I heard. I think I never found that specific recording again. Anyway, it was nothing like this (the bass line is mostly from memory, though).

I was enjoying Duolingo, so I decided to get rid of the ads and limited lives and paid for a 1-year subscription to “Super Duolingo”.
Halfway through said year, they introduced Duolingo Max, so now half of my stuff was blocked because I chose to pay, but I wasn’t paying *enough*.
