I don't really believe in male socialization by and large, but I do think many trans women don't realize how they've benefited from female labor. This is absolutely essential, because the longer you transition the more you realize you're actively doing it now.

The main thing I wish cisgender people understood about the trans experience is the feeling of like a complete outsider as your skin crawls in horror at your own body. They'd probably have a lot more sympathy if they did
