Tomorrow, Republicans have a chance to vote to prevent 24 million Americans’ premiums from spiking.

If they really care about affordability, this is the single easiest and most important vote to support. Somehow, I doubt they’ll do it.

I get the impression that Americans believe they can just elect a president who is a tad less crazy than this one and everyone will be friends with the US again. I don´t think that will happen. The US will not recover from this anytime soon. A fair share of Europeans see you as enemies now.

I know a single mom of two special needs children, she works two part-time jobs while the kids are in school and relies on the ACA subsidies to afford health insurance. Her new premiums are way out of reach, so she'll have no healthcare going forward. In the richest country on earth. Unacceptable.
