Spend too much time optimizing, you end up doing nothing.

GenAI is incredible but I do think it’s a bubble. It’s only as useful as the data its fed. Over reliance of GenAI will reduce the quality of inputs received and thus the quality of its output. #MadewithoutGenAI will be a status symbol just like handmade and organic products.

Note to self: Each day you have to see your vision clearly and fight for it to make it a reality. The only one who could make it come true is you.

I hate that if you’re in tech you almost have to be on X. The tech community here needs to get larger.

Next up: deactivating all FETA products (IG & FB). Saving my photos first and will download my data. We don’t need to use these services. It’s a huge problem that everything in a capitalist society has options except apparently we feel strong armed to have to use FETA products. It’s a fallacy.

What’s the difference between a gov controlling an algorithm, silently eliminating reach for things it doesn’t like, vs the same gov using its power, to demand that the platform remove the things it doesn’t like.?

In China they are overt. With TikTok in the US, they control silently

I think it’s wild that political figures and government agencies are using twitter to update us on the fire when it’s mostly just bots and MAGA/Elon weirdos now.

We gotta reject “Well, RFK jr. is right about some things” and accept “if we don’t confront the real problems with our systems, it becomes much easier for con artists like this guy to manipulate people.”
