i disagree that it's worse in any material way, but I'm fine with TikTok being banned and support banning basically all algorithmic social media
This argument actually gets stronger when you add in the unspoken part, which is that our lack of influence or oversight means that the CCP has that ability, and that’s worse.
Gotta say that this doesn’t make me feel any worse about banning TikTok.
