Just found out that the guy who runs the men's clothing shop in The Chair Company is in fact the actual guy who runs the actual men's clothing shop that they filmed in. They were location scouting his store and were so struck by the way he talked that they cast him variety.com/2025/tv/news...

we still haven't moved past the double meaning problem here---the people who want Zohran to be "tougher on antisemitism" really mean "silent on Israeli genocide."

So much of MAGA politics seems like dark Freudian family dramas.
