Rortvedt is out of options, they believe in Rushing, and they tried to sneak him through waivers (having already agreed to a $1.25 million deal for 2026 to avoid arbitration) to get him off the 40-man roster, but the Reds claimed him

In the last week, in addition to bringing back Nick Frasso, the Dodgers also signed catcher Chuckie Robinson and pitcher Carlos Duran to minor league deals

Duran was traded to A's in May for Esteury Ruiz then became a minor league FA. Robinson was part of LA's great catcher emergency in September

I took a look at the Instagram follows to see if this is legit. No following Trump/MAGA stuff from what I saw.

Follows Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and at least a half dozen Pokémon card collecting accounts.

I don't know if the Dodgers are really in on Kyle Tucker but

A the OF wasn't good (18th in WAR
B they should have traded for him last winter
C his AAV is likely less than they have coming off the books

but most importantly

D I don't care about any of this rn, there's a world series to play

Dodgers will only be able to use two pitchers per game, basically. Starter + one of Wrobleski, Sheehan, Sasaki, and Kershaw. That's basically their only path to win games.
The silver lining is Roki and Kershaw looked comfortable in their new roles. Next step is they probably need to go like 2-4 innings for the Dodgers to have a chance in the playoffs.
