It was interesting telling a coworker that the grant that put nice stuff in our classrooms for students got shut down because Trump decided it was DEI and watching him try to wrestle with the idea that Trump did something negative to him and our students that really has no good justification.

So I don't get something and if someone who does sees this please actually educate me:
I get that Trumps tariffs are going to raise prices for us and people who think they'll make things cheaper are wrong.
But I don't get why? Who gets rich from this? Why do people in power/money want tariffs?
