This is true: The Trump administration said it has imposed a 10% tariff on the British Indian Ocean Territory, whose only inhabitants are the U.S. and U.K. service members at the military base on Diego Garcia.

The US is so difficult to understand for me… I see people super excited that some rallies took place and that a senator is speaking a lot… but the DC Mall is empty. Times Square is full of the usual tourists. And the people organising national protests are ignored. My Peruvian mind can’t comprehend

Disturbing to see just how normalized antisemitism has become in the far left, including even some media and academic circles.
