BREAKING: Democrats have *flipped* a seat in Georgia's state House tonight.

Democrat Eric Gisler has won the seat, which was previously held by a Republican who resigned this fall.

This is a red territory: Trump won the district by 13% in 2024.

I've been teaching the Canterbury Tales, focusing on social disparity, for years. The parallels between the Dark Ages and NOW are wretched. The powerful didn't give a shit about the suffering of others in 1400, and they give less of one in 2025. Difference is: WE know better.

In fairness, Trump may have done U.S. taxpayers a favor this time. No need to house or feed this convicted drug trafficker — Honduras can handle that bill.
Hilarious.

Anyone with common sense knows a Trump pardon means nothing outside the U.S. Oops.

The intention is to keep people tied to their employer until they're 65 when they qualify for Medicare. Most people cannot afford to buy health insurance. Great for the corporations since the labor supply is increased to keep wages low.

Unfortunately, age discrimination is real!
Tying our healthcare to our employers was a brilliant move for the billionaires…

Not so much for the rest of us.
