This year for #Inktober I decided to do a #Batober and focusing on the villains of Batman.

And why not start at the beginning with The Mad Monk!".

I get great amusement with @kevinkugler.bsky.social commentating a Packers game. Many years ago when I was an intern on #BigRedWrapUp hosted by Kevin, we would get hate calls because id be in the phone bank wearing a Packers jersey.

I have so many thoughts when someone asks who my favorite actor is, but hot damn any time he's on a screen in front of me, I think it is Robert Shaw.

And yes, I'm watching "The Sting" tonight in honor of Redford.

Here’s I wrote about gamergate 11 years ago. Almost nobody major in the media got what this was or why it mattered. “Eh, it’s just nerdy Online Drama.” The difference now? The cluelessness remains, fewer publications & reporters—& gamergate took over the country. www.huffpost.com/entry/anita-...

Catching up on the BTS patreon mailbag and really liked @jmkaudition.com question. And something I have thought about a lot myself.

Make sure to tell the folks you care about and enjoy what you think of them. Because you never know when they are going to be gone.

We are in hell
‘We’re again saving the very worst piece of legislation for the middle of the night where everyone has tuned out.’

After midnight, the #Ohio House passes 11th-hour bill forcing teachers and counselors to out #LGBTQ+ students. The bill now heads to Gov. DeWine.

I will say some of the stuff with George Bailey is hitting different this way.

These ads where they want you to use AI because you're just kind of shitty says all you need to know about what they are pushing and who it is for.

You want to know what's one of the most adult-brained boring ass things ever? Being concerned with how Santa can *realistically* deliver presents to everyone in a night. Like fuck off with that shit.

Pretty tired of this emotional funk I'm in these days. Pretty heartbroke and not sure how to get out of it for the time being.

Yes, im seeing my therapist. But this is just rough.

We live at a time when anyone can publish their thoughts anywhere. "Debate" is the cheapest and easiest form of discourse. It is *everywhere.*

What we need are institutions that fortify debates with basic facts and, yes, close down debates where one side is plainly wrong.

Always wanted to do an #inktober to help with my skills. If the last few day have taught me anything, it's not to put things off anymore.
