generative AI devalues things made by human beings not because it's good enough to produce what we do but because it lowers the belief in what we are capable of as artists. AI reproduces us statistically but cannot create something.

people become jaded and write off human creation. this sucks.

You cannot respectability politics your way to liberation. There is no way to be so apologetic about your humanity that bigots will accept it. You can only push and push and push until you break through.

But we gotta keep making plans for the future. We gotta keep living like we're gonna keep living. We have to remember our dreams so we remember why we gotta keep fighting to make them possible.
