I am a Canadian who just happens to currently live in Alberta. Time to decide if you are a Canadian patriot or a Nazi sympathizer.

Not as wild as yesterday but this planned bullpen game in the playoffs is weird although so far its been working out.

Danielle Smith loves to pick fights but if I were her I might have thought twice about picking one with a guy who is 6’7”, spits facts, and absolutely nailed the real reason she’s shilling for a pipeline.

This "Eby goes off the rails" statement is wild

Smith is putting at risk billions of dollars worth of projects that he's been working on

He sounded frustrated to me
& I know how he feels

Smith is, was, and will always be, an embarrassment to Albertans

B.C. NDP premier David Eby goes off the rails, accuses Smith of bringing Trump to Canada via pipeline. An unhinged attack far beyond the earlier pipeline battle. Column. calgaryherald.com/opinion/colu... #ableg #abpoli #cdnpoli #yyc #yeg #bcpoli #yyc #yeg

Carney didn't help auto by offering to build Keystone XL.
Trump remains focused on destroying our auto sector.
Carney isn't placating a "growing" Alberta-BC rift.
Danielle Smith set up a non-existent fight.
Keystone XL doesn't "suck" for the US environment - it is a planet carbon bomb.

@charlieangus104.bsky.social This may be way off the mark, but this strikes me as a smart move by Carney because he gets progress on US tariffs and partially defuses the growing Alberta-BC rift while shifting the burden on making it hair to the US… which sucks for the US environmental concerns but

Clearly Danielle Smith is the one that continues to be in love with Donald Trump. Is she really unaware of Americas descent in fascism or as I suspect is it what she wants for Alberta and Canada. Absolutely sickening.

The fall out of Carney's latest visit with Trump:
After bragging about Canada joining the US, Trump made it clear he is determined to destroy our autoworkers and steelworkers.
But Danielle Smith and the planet burners are over the moon.
They say this is "love language."

This was never about deporting criminals. It’s about Stephen Miller’s campaign of ethnic cleansing.
Tweet from Alex Tabarrok reads:
“Sergio Garcia, celebrated Chef who came to the US before ICE even existed. Deported after 36 years.
The picture tells you a lot about the decline of the Republican party.”
Attached photo shows Sergio Garcia standing with Laura and George W. Bush outdoors. The photo is signed: “To Sergio Garcia, With best wishes – George & Laura Bush.”

"Energy dominance," you say?

As of this year, *China is exporting more clean-energy technology than the US is exporting the dirty stuff*.

The future is green energy & China, not the US, is set to dominate it.
China Is Beating the US in the Battle for Energy Export Dominance
China’s exports of clean energy technology hit a record in August, with $20 billion shipped globally.

Everyone needs to be reminded that geographically speaking Greenland is much closer to Canada than Europe. If you don't own a globe I highly recommend the investment it puts the world in a completely different perspective than a flat 2D map.

But what I love the most is that regular Albertans are using Smith's pro-separatist legislation against her

Calgary teacher Alicia Taylor says she brought it forward because it could help improve funding for public schools. #AbEd

Watching so many people in high places go through the motions of polling and median-voter whispering can make you feel like you're in Bodysnatchers. It's worth a reminder that the typical experience of tyranny is...basically normal life. Which means we have to will ourselves to fight harder.

There's good reason why the oil and gas industry lobbies so hard for carbon capture - because it's the one 'climate solution' that wouldn't necessarily require shutting down the oil and gas industry

But it doesn't work. They need to be shut down
