I feel like there is a negative stereotype around tech furries being narcissistic people that lack empathy and critical thinking skills. As a tech fur myself, that makes me feel kinda bad about the type of stuff I like because people push that stereotype onto me when I'm trying to break it.

Never thought it was this hard to make friends with people until I realized all the friends i did have were fake. I want to make real, genuine, positive connections with people and somehow nobody sees that in me. Everyone thinks i'm trying to use them when in reality i just want to be their friend.
