The word “enabling” gets thrown around a lot in “harm reduction.” Truth is it can mean helping someone survive long enough to choose recovery. If it keeps them alive and connected, that is support. In a toxic drug crisis, people need love, not ultimatums. We cannot help anyone who is already dead.
