Prime Minister Mark Carney's speech at the World Economic Forum today is an historic must-watch.

These are the strong words I was waiting for. Pragmatic and visionary.

Hats off to his speech writers who really rose to the occasion.

The UCP have 47 seats in the #ableg
44 forms a majority government
But we only need 4 petitions to get enough signatures and then we have a chance of changing the balance of power

If there's a recall in your riding please sign it and get your friends and family to sign

This analyzes Canadas rise in manslaughter charges linked to overdose deaths. Most charged are low-level sellers often people who use drugs and know the buyer. Framed as community protection these prosecutions show a growing punitive response, not therapeutic shift.

From the DM’s…

This is confirmed to be part of a document assembled by ER physicians and sent to the UCP to get them to address the healthcare crisis.

A patient awaiting care in a hallway died without ever making it to an actual care space.

Their death was likely preventable.

Drug checking should be funded and be an important part of public health infrastructure.

So long as we continue prohibitionist policies in which the drug supply is unregulated and unsafe, we should at least try to be as aware as possible so that we can anticipate changes and keep people safe.

This is the insanity that took over the White House.

At home, in Alberta, separatists are dutifully collaborating.

This insanity poses a real national security threat for Canada and, eventually, for the world.

Separatists aren’t just angry convoy truckers, they’re dangerous.

Danielle Smith and her 4 ministers can’t run a lemonade stand. They called a news conference with 5 people just to admit NO ONE is in charge or can make decisions.
