I woke up this morning and my regular morning news podcasts on Spotify didn’t show the latest shows available. I tried to play them on Apple Podcasts and, at first, they gave me an error. I eventually got them to play on Podcasts. But the fear that the State actually had silenced news is real.

I really wish Senator Blumenthal (@blumenthal.senate.gov) had thought of a better name for this bill than the SAVES Act. It treads too dangerously close to the SAVE Act which seeks to strip away voting rights.

I’m glad someone’s coming up with ideas because I’m starting to feel there’s nothing effective we can do without violating the constitution ourselves.

In watching all these parallels between 1939 and 2025 play out, the one thing that gives me a glimmer of hope is that, unlike Hitler, Herr Trumpf doesn’t have any military experience and wouldn’t know the first thing about military strategy.

So Boebert and Mace are more concerned with policing bathrooms than lowering the cost of eggs. I guess the they/them those ads were talking about was the they/them grocery costs but the “you” was only you if you’re in the restroom.
