Pokemon is well-known for false choices in their dialogue- but in Scarlet/Violet a character asks you if you want to be "Rivals for life" and if you keep saying "No" she keeps asking more and more aggressively until she's just yelling "YOU. ME. RIVALS. YES?". It always gets me for some reason.

I dunno. None of the painted characters are actually "real"- they are as fake to the in-game Paris as the in-game Paris is to ours. Yet people regularly talk about "saving" them in Maelle's ending as if it means anything at all. They wouldn't do that if the characters aren't meaningful.

As someone who worked there, the reason CAP isn't trying is because they're not a liberal Heritage Foundation devoted to generational furtherment of liberal ideals. They were a 501c3 dedicated to making Hillary Clinton and possibly her daughter president and they catastrophically failed at it

The Republicans have a very well organized think-tank (Heritage Foundation) for strategizing and coordination of messaging. They control what we are seeing day to day.
