After seeing starship 36 blow up so spectacularly, it looks like ship explosions in Star Wars are realer than we've been saying this whole time. If the fireball is supposed to be that big in an oxygenated atmosphere, then the relatively tiny ones in space might just be burning life support oxygen

If this isn't the most dystopian shit you've ever read about real life then I don't know what is. This is dehumanization for profit at the federal level. This does nothing but make the suffering of those leaving their homes, many fleeing from war, into a spectacle to be jeered at. Cruel and unusual.
