America's richest 10% now hold 60% of the nation's wealth.

The bottom half of America? It holds just 6%.

Wealth inequality is eating this country alive.

Hello? Is anyone—and by that I DO MEAN ANYONE AT ALL—home?
Because it is my lot in life, Trump can’t change the name of the Kennedy center. It needs to be authorized by Congress.

As a Brown alumnus, I am utterly heartbroken. The Brown campus has always been a place for chasing dreams, not dodging bullets

But it’s just as gutting as Uvalde, Newtown or hundreds of other mass shooting, in a nation where Congress disappeared for 2 months and the president is building a ballroom

My god. Do 2nd amendment-obsessed folks really think easy access to guns is worth this kind of horror, over and over and over again?!
#StopTheMadness
The horrific tragedy at Brown University is the 389th mass shooting this year and the 230th gun incident on school grounds so far this year.

This is not normal and we don't have to live this way.

This one graphic truly does say it all. Crazy old malignant narcissist ranting from his self-serving fantasy world. And the people—finally—aren’t having it.
NEW POLL: Trump at an all-time low on the economy.

Instead of waking up and doing the right thing for Americans, he’s bellyaching about why we aren’t grateful for the stock market that we’ve watched him manipulate for his rich buddies with his on-and-off tariffs.

The disconnect in one graphic.

Both cruel and truly insane. What are we supposed to call a disability if we can’t use the word “disability?” Oh, and we can’t use “female” or “woman” so WTF exactly are we supposed to call people who are not male?
According to a new court filing, the Trump administration has a six-page list of banned words that Head Start locations are forbidden from using when describing their programs.
Among the censored words: "disability," "race," "women," "trauma," "Gulf of Mexico." Short thread with the full list. 🧵

No, we’re not just imagining it. It really has been and still is this appalling, how complicit Sulzberger’s, Murdoch’s, and Bezos’ media have been in annihilating Biden & Dem norms and protecting Trump & his agenda. Free press? Not so much. They’re state media now.

This thread is so critically important. This is everything, the alpha and the omega, the essential center of the American republic. Anyone—ANYONE, no matter their job or status—who pushes against this or tries to take it apart DOES NOT UNDERSTAND THE ESSENTIAL CENTER OF WHAT AMERICA WAS AND IS.
i think to understand the meaning of the birthright citizenship clause to the framers of the 14th amendment, you have to understand significance of dred scott to the civil war republican party. dred scott wasn't just a bad ruling, it was understood as a rejection of the declaration itself.

This x 1,000,000. Trump is a deeply sick sociopath, we know this, but I’ve struggled hard to reconcile how everyone ELSE around him can say/do such sick stuff too. It’s not just conformity or fear of losing jobs. It’s this. He’s SO damaged and has hired only damaged men to mirror him
We dsperately need maturity in leadership.

Everyone at the top are broken little boys playing at being (what they've been taught is an ideal of) men.

This is critical for us all to understand.

People think tyrants rage because they're strong.

But the truth is they only rage when they know the room will absorb it.

Mamdani didn't absorb it.
So Trump didn't rage.

Fear is the oxygen of authoritarianism.

Take it away, and even a strongman starts to sound like a man.

Last month it was the Young Republicans praising Hitler. Last week it was Fuentes & Carlson criticizing "Jewry". This week, they're saying swastikas and nooses aren't hate speech. The rot is party-wide. www.seattletimes.com/nation-world...
U.S. Coast Guard will no longer classify swastikas, nooses as hate symbols
The military service, which falls under the Department of Homeland Security, has drafted a new policy that classifies such items “potentially divisive.”

Before the midterms of 1866, President Andrew Johnson called his congressional opponents traitors and said they should be hanged.

Voters were so profoundly moved by his words... that they gave his opponents a supermajority in Congress, and the nation got the Fourteenth Amendment.

NEW: Churches in Charlotte are hosting trainings on how to response to ICE agents — with *hundreds* filling pews.

At one training, a child led those gathered in "This Little Light of Mine" — but changed the words to “All around Border Patrol, I’m gonna let it shine" religionnews.com/2025/11/20/a...
As ICE descends on Charlotte, faith leaders draw on other cities' actions to aid immigrants
(RNS) — As many as 500 people, a mix of clergy and other volunteers, have appeared at the training sessions on how to counter ICE.

Today the President of the United States called for the killing of his political opponents. People need to understand how serious that is.

This is not normal. This cannot be something only Democrats condemn. Every leader and American must condemn this.

Robots ok, non-white humans a scourge on America. Proof that this is all racism from Vance and nothing more—this needs to be shared/amplified.
It's a revealing moment...

J.D. Vance welcomes a two-legged robot helping on the job site. But if that helper is a person named Jose, he calls it a threat. Same tasks, same productivity boost.

The inconsistency reveals this isn’t about economics.

Even after all this time and destruction, still, the mind reels.
The president of the most powerful nation on Earth is so terrified of the tales that an imprisoned sex trafficker can tell that he plies her with a comfort puppy and custom meals and is holding out the prospect of a pardon.
