On the one hand, this illustrates the problems with sports gambling. On the other hand, it looks like Dave Portnoy lost a lot of money.
For some men (and women) sports seem like an outlet for emotional volatility, for others it seems like a trigger for it. Maybe if we didn’t appoint major media figures based primarily on bed-head and extreme mood lability the culture would be better.
Everything else aside, the idea that this is a model for many men of *masculinity* is so wild. This? This is "manly"? This is how people think it's cool to act?
