For those keeping score, Bellingcat, The New York Times Visual Investigation Team, & Washington Post's Visual Forensic team have all published analysis showing the ICE shooter wasn't in the path of Renee Nicole Good’s vehicle when he shot her, contradicting statements by the President & his cronies

Her vehicle's right front panel cleared the ICE agent who didn't open fire until after he was at the side of her vehicle. He used deadly force on a fleeing individual, which is against DHS policy. This is murder. He needs to be arrested.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but cops are not allowed to shoot people just because you didn't do what they said.

That is called murder when they do that.

Some cops are working hard to convince people otherwise.

Our Union is not perfect, but it is a promise.

That cooperation is stronger than confrontation.

That law is stronger than force.

Principles that apply not only to our European Union, but equally to Greenland.

"We are the dominant predator force in the Western Hemisphere" is the sort of line that gets edited out of an anime villain's evil monologue for being a bit much.
Ogles: "It's important that we have a stake in Greenland, that they are quite frankly a protectorate of the US. They've been in relationship with Denmark - that needs to end. We've spilled more blood protecting Greenland than the Danes... we are the dominant predator force in the Western Hemisphere"

Exactly one Allied combat fatality happened in Greenland during World War II, and he was a Danish soldier on patrol killed in a firefight with a German weather station crew.

Foreign affairs select committee Chair Emily Thornberry says UK and allies should "call out" US for breaking international law.

"It is not for the country that is breaking the law to say whether or not it has broken the law. It is for the West surely to stand up and call it as it is" 👏

Why is Labour giving Trump a free pass to break international law?

We know what happens when US Presidents launch illegal wars. It’s why the Liberal Democrats opposed the Iraq War and it’s why we condemn Trump’s law-breaking in Venezuela today.

It’s time for Starmer to find some backbone. We can’t tiptoe around hoping to be spared, Under Trump, the US is not reliable ally, friend or partner. Where Congress won’t act, other world leaders have duty to call out Trump’s behavior for what it is. Many Americans will also appreciate such clarity.
He’s utterly unhinged and out of control. Congress could stop this in an instant, but its ruling party, the GOP, has become equally untethered from principle or reality. Too many Americans still cheering this on without any comprehension of the disastrous consequences, for themselves or the world.
President Trump suggested on Sunday that the U.S. could take action against other countries after its attack on Venezuela. He threatened Colombia and its president, described Cuba as “ready to fall” and reasserted his desire to take control of Greenland.

Absolutely this thread.

The lack of spine from this government on rule of law has let down the UK hugely.
There are MANY issues with Starmer’s messaging. But I always thought this govts best and easiest bet was to become THE government of the rules and fair play. Led by a former lawyer, lean into fairness, equality, law and order, justice for workers, respect for international law.

Denmark needs to get rid of the US military base in Greenland and so does the rest of Europe. They aren’t going to defend against a Russian invasion but open a secondary front line to invade you too. It’s time to kick the US out worldwide.
