The alarm is real but $200 billion is not correct.
The bill gives $170.7 billion in immigration-related funding to be spent through Sept. 30, 2029, of which $75 billion goes directly to ICE, including $45 billion for detention. A $3.5 billion fund to states could be used for some detention too.
