Most of y'all put a buncha crap in your bio and then don't post that stuff. I've been spending the whole month unfollowing people who do that.
I love BlueSky, I think not only that it will succeed but that it already has, every time I open up X I’m more and more disgusted, but…what’s up with this? bsky.jazco.dev/stats

Take: smaller bike frames should have smaller wheels and bigger frames should have bigger wheels. Using the same size wheel for every size bike changes the geometry, making each size a whole different bike.

My finance app just updated with yearly spending totals so now I know I only spent $886 on transportation between bikes rideshare transit and shared ebikes. Everyone with a car is getting ripped off!

The place that served me this just had a sign that said "BAR"

Had a great time mobbing up with @climateandtransit.bsky.social to Seattle taking 80% local transit from Portland!

I really wonder how much of the health gap between wealthy and poor Americans is actually an air quality gap.

Instagram comments have gotten so vile, my reels used to be more insulated unless they got a lot of likes but now I'm guaranteed to have 100+ haters screaming hate at me any time I post a reel. And then my entire audience has more or less left, I get 1/4th the engagement I used to get. I'm done lmao

Never considered the irony of how removing the barriers to cycling involved placing literal barriers. I'm gonna spin this line in a job interview some day.
Barriers.

School run parents who drive their kids everywhere end up with the kids shackled to adults for their everyday transport needs, & adults shackled to kids because their daily schedule is arranged around those needs.
That's co-dependency, not freedom.

Last night my bike was stored at bike farm, the co op where I volunteer, while I moved to a new apartment. Someone broke in and stole it, as well as a substantial amount of cash (destroyed our safe). Please be on the lookout. Can’t have shit in Portland

Want to massively upgrade local sidewalks? Look to Denver.

The city recently made sidewalk construction a job for the government – not individual property owners. 1,000+ miles of new & improved footpaths are planned.

It’s a groundbreaking shift that other cities should study. 🧵
Who Should Pay to Fix the Sidewalk?
Denver has made sidewalk upkeep a public responsibility, becoming the largest US municipality to fund and maintain this critical but unsung pedestrian infrastructure.
