I keep getting this video recommended to me. Why? Are Americans upset that the venerable frozen pizza industry would not be entirely honest with them???

In Sweden we celebrate on the 24th so I baked this bread for Christmas dinner. Very proud of my gigantic bread baby.

Every day feels more like half of the people on "the left" are just right wingers trying to tear things down.

Call of Duty releases a ton of AI generated assets? Everyone got bored in a day.

E33 accidentally has one AI texture in it? "Lefties" organize a crusade.

They really just released a curated list of things they want you to know rather than the Epstein files. They're laughing at you.

It's a real shame about my WoW classic guild. The guild leader promoted her girlfriend to officer and you can imagine how bad things went from there.

The girlfriend immediately started picking fights with me and as soon as I said anything snarky back at her I got an official officer warning. Sad.

With the way society is going I am going to send a prediction that within the next five years there will be a serious push to claim "he/him" as gender neutral for the purposes of addressing others. It started with dude and now it's moved onto he/him, both of which are equally obviously male gendered

Bro in the US they just lie about the price of goods so the media won't talk about how fucked they are.
It turns out that Dollar General and Family Dollar routinely overcharge people—their advertised price tags are fictions. These are the only stores in many small towns.

Scam culture. It's all scam culture. On this matter, Democrats should run on audits and serious fines for overcharging.
How the dollar-store industry overcharges cash-strapped customers while promising low prices
A Guardian investigation reveals Dollar General and Family Dollar stores often fail to honor their shelf prices – charging more at checkout for everything from frying pans to Frosted Flakes

The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service

The victims of capitalism.
Sorry, I made a mistake. The correct figure is 38 million deaths associated with unilateral sanctions imposed by the US and EU during the period 1970-2021.
New research published by The Lancet finds that economic sanctions imposed by the USA and EU are associated with more than 500,000 deaths per year since 1970, five times more than deaths by war.

There's no awareness that almost every RTS hit is the result of MANY years of tweaking, tuning, balancing and usually several expansions.

Starcraft 2 was released episodically over the course of *five years*.

I am continually reminded that there is no harder gaming audience to please than RTS fans.

Every new game that is released needs to dethrone every multiplayer hit that came before AND have a 20-hour campaign. They'll tear down anything that falls short, and then wonder why so few devs want to try.

Trying to watch a movie on streaming in 2015: it's on Netflix!
The same thing in 2025: content not available in your region.

Wow, we've made so much progress in just a decade!

Exclusives are bad. We all agree that exclusives are bad, right?

So why the hell do I keep seeing people argue that Nintendo is good because they refuse to release their games on any other platform? Do you love paying an extra Nintendo fee???

Another Defunctland video, another time the internet goes crazy over a supposedly "cozy" and "fun" video about some horrible dystopian shit and service workers getting absolutely fucked so that people can make money.

Bellingcat’s contact email has always been a magnet for people with fairly unusual views; paranoid delusions, sprawling conspiracies, the works. But recently, the pattern has shifted, we’re seeing more and more emails clearly written with ChatGPT.

I remember when there was a discussion on Twitter about Shein's manufacturing practices and some apologists invented all sorts of fantastical machinery and technology to avoid facing the more horrifying truth. Reminds me of this comedian's joke.
