Yes it’s confronting as an Aussie to grasp that type of gun could have been legally owned but not it’s not unsurprising.

The gun lobby wants those guns in the community just like they want to support far-right extremism because they are themselves extremist Christofascists (for the most part).

I remember going with my dad to the local police station to dispose of some guns during the buyback after the Port Arthur massacre.

Which upon reflection is a really weird activity to do with your child.
