"Surely the voters will reward us for our maturity and responsible government stewardship." I say to myself as every media outlet starts talking about how Trump saved Thanksgiving and Christmas by getting Democrats to end their shutdown.

It's shocking to me, too. I honestly thought it probably wouldn't pass at all since anti-gerrymandering referenda often pass easily in solidly red or blue states.

I agree with those saying this has gotten much worse post-Pandemic. But it was a thing before the pandemic too, I remember in 2014 I was on a city boulevard and slowed down in the left lane in preparation for a left turn, and someone tailgated me, then passed me on the right and flipped me the bird.
