Devastating news that marine biologist, science communicator, and UniMelb VC Professor Emma Johnston has died after a short illness.
She really was an extraordinary and visionary leader, and I have no doubt she would have made a fine Chief Scientist one day.

ICE is going after people who commit fewer crimes than U.S. born citizens. They're robbing people, hurting people, using racial profiling, violating due process, hurting children, and going after American citizens while they do. This is an illegal criminal enterprise from head to toe.

Wonder how many of our veterans voted for this a******?
It reminds me of my union and how many of my union coworkers voted for the people who don't believe in unions : / and continue to. You can't have it both ways it's going to crash and it's crashing right now on the entire USA
Everyone knows our country faces a crisis-level shortage of health care workers. Instead of solving it, the Trump VA has decided vets won’t be getting the care they’ve earned. It’s a travesty and I’ll be fighting this decision.

VA plans to abruptly eliminate tens of thousands of health care jobs
Strains on the Veterans Affairs system could grow with the elimination of as many as 35,000 mostly unfilled health care positions, including doctors and nurses.

This tells you a lot about the unqualified and uneducated government that we have today. And how much they do not value our veterans who everyday work to protect Americans
💔🇺🇲💔
The Administration is once again hurting our veterans who get care at the VA. After getting rid of 30,000 positions this year, they’re intentionally leaving 35,000 more health care jobs – including doctors and nurses – unfilled. That’s 65,000 fewer people who are meant to be caring for our vets.
