100% this. That would be logical. As would banning disposable vapes (ecological disaster). Taxing it all regardless is so stupid. There will be a surge of black market activity from the north, and loads of independent vape shops will go bust. Great work, as ever 🙄

Genuinely baffled by the wailing and pearl clutching about Maria Steen not being on the ballot. Why are people acting like she was basically owed the nomination, or we are obliged to have her on the ballot? She started her campaign like 5 minutes before the deadline and failed, she is owed nothing.

There is this delusion that Maria Steen is this widely embraced public figure, when in reality she is a fringe candidate whose polling was no stronger than McGregor's, and whose views on social issues are massively at odds with most of Irish society.
