This is becoming absurd—federal employees are now being told to remove pronouns from their email signatures. We will always stand by our commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, no matter how many things we’re asked to delete or change. Inclusivity is at the core of who we are.

gosh idk if I can handle the rising oligarchy AND becoming the “I can’t believe you’ve never heard of this show” generation at the same time
Real Housewives of Dubai star Chanel Ayan thought her Traitors castmates were going through hard times before the show, as she didn’t understand why so many of them identified as survivors… until she learned there’s a show called ‘Survivor.’

Indiana is the latest to double down on banning masks … still parsing through the bill to understand exactly what this means for those who mask for their health & the health of others.

If you stopped masking, please start again. We must normalize them as a public health tool before it’s too late

Oh, thank goodness, the guy who took care of COVID is in charge. And pay no attention to his telling health agencies - CDC, FDA, NIH - to stop informing the public. www.axios.com/2025/01/22/v...
Virus season roars back with "quad-demic" of illness
The simultaneous threats are straining some hospitals to capacity and leading administrators to recommend masking among staff.

Pausing health alerts from the health agencies like the CDC and FDA is reckless.

Health alerts from CDC notify health care providers of new outbreaks, critical medication shortages, etc. FDA alerts share important information about medication safety.

This is outright dangerous.
New: Trump officials have paused all external communications at health agencies like CDC, FDA, NIH.

No health alerts and the famed MMWRs; no updates to key websites or social media posts.

And no indication how long the pause will last.

The agencies are charged with making decisions that touch the lives of every American and are the source of crucial information to health-care providers.

Don’t underestimate the impact you’re making when you choose to wear a mask.

You’re protecting your health & the health of your community. You’re helping ease the burden on our healthcare system.

You’re standing in solidarity with disabled people & telling the government that no one is expendable
