If we learned that the Obama or Biden DOJ was casually monitoring the comings and goings of a reporter for any reason, much less b/c she was the lead reporter on all things Epstein, it would be a Watergate-level scandal but of course since it's Trump, one day (at best) and we move right along 🙃

Corruption so pungent, it wafts right off the page:

Lobbyists who do pardon deals “say their going rate is $1 million. Pardon-seekers have offered some lobbyists close to the president success fees of as much as $6 million if they can close the deal.”

You are either on Team Release Everything (except for victim info), or you are a pedo protector.

And everyone satisfied with this obvious cover up is on Team Pedo Protector.

There is no middle ground.

At least 20 people who have received clemency from President Trump so far this year were also forgiven of financial penalties totaling tens of millions.

Some of these offenders owed money to victims of fraud. Now they won't get their money back.
Trump’s pardons wipe out payments to defrauded victims
In addition to clearing prison sentences, the president’s clemency actions have erased millions in restitution payments.

This is a violation of the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

Deputy Attorney General Blanche in video:

"I expect that we're going to release more documents over the next couple of weeks."

Here's the LAW:

Well sending Blanche out is the tell. We’re not seeing anything of consequence.
Blanche on Epstein files: "Today is the 30 days. I expect we're going to release several hundred thousand documents today, including photographs...now, the most important thing is we protect victims. We are looking at every single piece of paper making sure that every victim is completely protected"

Important: WaPo is doubling down on its reporting on Trump's bombings, asserting expressly that the second strike was ordered "when" the two survivors were "detected."

Hegseth is suggesting he didn't see the survivors, but the question remains: Were they visible, or not? Time to see the video.

Sen. Roger Marshall, on MS NOW, says he doesn't know the "details" and can't comment on Trump's pardon of a former Honduran leader who was convicted of major drug trafficking. That's the go-to move by GOP lawmakers these days: ignorance of things that they're being paid to know about.

It's great that reporting on the double tap has spotlighted the abject criminality of this Administration.

But don't forget: Venezuela is not waging war on America or Americans, and the men killed were not combatants.

The first strike was every bit as illegal as the second.
