As I said with my resolutions, NEVER dedicated yourself to doomerism 24/7. It’s ok to be sad of what’s been happening, but it’s very important to take care of yourselves too. Being optimistic, joyful, and hopeful is what matters the most than to spend time drowning in negativity and despair.

As someone who has been struggling with mental health recently, this scene and the movie in general resonates with me so badly that it’s still hard for me to watch now. As happy as I am for Boy and the Heron to win the Oscar. This was always my favourite of that year.
It's been nearly three years since it came out and the climax of Nimona still gets me every single time. Words cannot describe how much of a miracle it was that this film got released, how it is, and what it means to me. It's the film Blue Sky deserves to be remembered for.

It is honestly amazing how stubborn Netflix is. Do they not realize that keeping a film in theaters for less than three weeks would lose them money and wouldn't make the film have an impact? They seriously better not implement this or they're gonna dig their grave faster.
