A poem about halloween:

This year‘s halloween
Is going to be interesting
We all get to choose between
Costumes and scary movie scenes
And a world so scary never seen

What really frightens you, my friend?
Is it a plastic severed hand?
Or the growing fascist trend?

The zeitgeist and me

Me and the zeitgeist
We‘re not really friends
Cause he is not someone
I can understand

How should we talk
If he can‘t see the light
If believe in fairness
And he thinks might makes right

FBI chief says he’ll see Charlie Kirk “in Valhalla.”

That’s not just weird, it’s a fascist dog whistle. Norse warrior myths have fueled far-right violence for decades.

Why that language is dangerous:

My take on the right‘s performative victimhood in the immediate aftermath of the Kirk-shooting and why it‘s an old fascist trick:

Performative Victimhood After Tragedy: Why Facts Matter, and Why Rhetoric Should Too
The killing of Charlie Kirk at a public event is a tragedy that needs no ornamentation. Families grieve. Communities tremble. In moments…

No End of History

They told us the story had finally closed,
that peace was the prize the century chose.
But ashes remember, and shadows remain,
the old songs of power still whisper the same.⬇️

“The mask slips. And we speak: Never again is always now.”

A new poem on fascism’s return, and why hope must rise with memory.

We read all the books,
we learned all the signs.
Then tripped on the same
old landmines.

But hey—next time,
we’ll do it just fine.

Here's a piece about failing to learn from history:

Those Who Don’t Learn From History
There are a number of silly yet accurate quotes about the nature of history. I presume you’ve heard them. So I’ll spare you from repeating…

I stand with Ukrainians, who have shown time and again that they will not abide tyranny, whether it comes from without or within. Zelensky made a mistake. He will pay the price when elections come. But Ukrainians will not thank us now or later if we use this as an excuse to abandon their defense.

They had us fighting over bathrooms
while they looted the treasury.

Banned books. Hate bait. Distraction.

Meanwhile: record profits, tax cuts, corporate bailouts.

Wrote a poem about the culture war con.
You’ll either laugh, cry, or rage. Possibly all three.

✍️ New piece just dropped:

An Honest Speech by Donald J. Trump.

A fictional confession.
A satirical monologue.
Every word based on actual events.

If you’ve ever said “I just don’t understand how people still support him” — this is for you.

This photo was taken a year ago, after a Russian missile hit a pediatric hospital in Kyiv.

My children are part-Ukrainian. That could’ve been them.

I wrote a poem. It’s called: This is the photo.

While Ukraine fights for its life, too many look away. I wrote this poem not just to remind people what’s happening — but to call on all of us to act. "Never again” must mean something. Ukraine still stands, and they deserve more than words.

Much of the west is so busy trying to "avoid" war that they don't realize we are already in one and we are losing badly. God bless Ukraine who is shouldering the full weight of our collective cowardice, mistakes and broken system. They need all the help and support they can get. #StandWithUkraine

Hungary cancels Pride.
Germany shelves the Pride flag.
The U.S. cracks down on diversity protections.

They want us quiet. They want us invisible.

I wrote a poem instead.
Because Pride is protest.
Because love fights back.

𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 “𝗼𝘂𝘁.”
Not in a world where lies sprint and truth limps behind the algorithm.
We are drowning in disinformation, and too many still choose silence to keep the peace.
Fascism thrives on silence.
I wrote a poem about standing firm. About ruining the mood. About refusing to let lies win ⬇️

Sovereignty doesn’t live in a flag. It lives in people.

If a state crushes its own citizens, it forfeits legitimacy—no matter what anthem it plays.

A poem about democracy, consent, and the right to say this is ours to decide.
