Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

The Courts Can’t Stop the Trump-Musk Coup
While the lawsuits being filed against the Trump-Musk administration are righteous, they will not “save” us from this nightmare.

Elon Musk is officially out at DOGE, but the mission is still alive.

After the sloppy Musk-led approach backfired politically and legally, the Trump Admin is moving to a more methodical gutting of agencies led by Project 2025 architect Russell Vought.
With Musk Out, Russell Vought Quietly Advances DOGE Cuts To Tactical New Phase
The far-right mastermind behind Trump’s federal purges is no longer in the shadows. With Elon Musk and his loud approach out, Russell Vought is carrying out DOGE's mission more methodically.

This is the GOP’s plan for schools once they destroy the Department of Education: push kids into low-wage labor, kill critical thinking, and let the wealthy profit off a powerless workforce.

I helped build a government AI system. DOGE fired me, rolled the AI out to the whole agency, and implied the AI can do my job and the jobs of the others they've fired.

It can't. But, what DOGE accidentally revealed about themselves in the process is fascinating. 🧵

Destroying the Department of Education will hurt all students, sending class sizes soaring, cutting job training programs, making college more expensive for middle class families, and taking away special education services—just to start.

Don't let it happen. Join us in taking action ⬇️

This comment on r/fednews really stood out to me. Trump and Musk want people to think they're firing do-nothing "bureaucrats," but they're really getting rid of people dedicated to serving this country and keeping it operational. I hope these stories get told.

Apartheid was, first and foremost, a business plan—one that the South African-born Musk seems to be reworking for the modern age.
