My wife is out of town for the week so I've been ripping our cd collection to keep myself busy. Nothing triggers existential dread like hearing a song you haven't heard in forever, and then realizing "forever" in this case is 25 years 😭

I have to say, as a man with two mothers, I find the derisive deployment of language like "lesbian" and "lover" by those on the far right who are trying to justify Renee Good's death particularly disgusting and dehumanizing. These women. They are wives. They are a family. That's it.

A bit sad that my personal game of the year, Ender Magnolia, was so overlooked by pretty much everyone. It's an amazing game and I wish more people were talking about it

Finally got around to setting up a jellyfin server. It's been a goal of mine for years, and now that I finally have it the prospect of ripping our entire physical media collection is extremely daunting. This is going to take years 😅

Spent the night in the ER evacuating my stomach, which set my recovery back quite a bit. Maybe my steam deck will get here in time to be useful after all

The pain meds they gave me post op are absolutely wrecking my stomach. They told me to keep my foot elevated above my heart and gave me pills that turn me into the deer from Castle Crashers... I am not flexible enough for this

I am not the kind of person to play games while out and about, so I know I would never use it, but sitting here on bed rest post surgery has me really regretting the decision to not get a steam deck

Fun fact about Steam. Developers can lie about their use of generative AI, and if it doesn't show up until after the 2 hour mark you can't refund it. Neat! Very cool way to trick people into buying AI slop, so glad they have that disclosure section on the store page 🙃 Thanks @steampowered.com!
