We don't really know they feed or exactly what they eat. There is speculation about how the feed, such as passively waiting for prey to bump into their arms but we don't really know for sure.

I do quite love their common name because it fits in with the tradition of cephalopods having confusing names (like vampire squids being not squids and eating poop, or paper nautiluses not being nautiluses even though nautiluses are named after paper nautiluses)
