Apparently Fall didn't appreciate me complaining about it being only one day. We got zero days. 😭 Last Wednesday was California summer, 101°F (38°C) hot and sunny. Thursday was Japanese summer 90°F (32°C) cloudy and very humid. Friday was winter, 63°F (17°C) cold and rainy. 😥

We were forced to move out to Lake Elsinore last February due to lack of income and an opportunity for relatively cheap housing. Winter was terribly cold, Spring was amazingly beautiful, and Summer was h3ll. I've been awaiting the Fall weather. Looks like its scheduled for next Wednesday. 🙃

This town is very politically purple. There was a giant ugly "Vote No on 50" banner that I dreamed of spray painting over the "no" with a big YES! Well, it turns out someone else had the same idea. 🤣 💖

Did prices go up again? We just had a fairly normal trip to Target and it was nearly $450. 😵💫 We usually spend half of that at Target per week.

Ugh. Zelda's Dr insisted we try potty training because the summer heat out here doesn't mix well with diapers. I wasn't going to try until after she turns 3. So we tried and Zelda LOVES learning everything about the potty! Toys, books, videos... but she refuses to actually try and go on the potty. 🤦♀️

Zelda ran to me crying because "the Switch is in the potty!" Sure enough, Tim's Nintendo Switch was in the toilet. 😱 I know she did it, but I have no idea how or why. (She did not get in trouble. We thanked her for telling us so we could help.) I'm so confused. Toddlers, wut. 🫠
