More from today's initial light rail vehicle roll down the Southwest LRT route. Construction began in 2018 and Metro Transit says passengers will ride in 2027. Over the Kenilworth Channel, leaving W Lake St Station, arriving at W 21st St Station, exiting the Kenilworth tunnel.
Can we get that cities 97 song Yule log?
The Yule Log on channel 45 in the Twin Cities starts up at 4 p.m. today which apparently is 2 hours earlier than in previous years. No music, just fire sounds, you're on your own for music (they suggest KS95 of course). 🔥🪵

We rode the Northstar Train a couple times over the last week before it ends service on January 4th. Saw daily commuters, transit nerds, and video gamers.
Want to ride? The 3:38pm train out of Target Field Station is a good choice, the only PM train you can ride out and back on.

How about this shadow from the IDS over Wells Fargo Center. The view from this side of downtown hides the Capella Tower (which depending on who you ask, is the tallest building in Minnesota).
