I just finished season 1 of Xena. I teared up during the last episode. It was so nerve-wracking that I hugged my friend’s dog as I shouted at the TV for Gabrielle to be okay. Time for season 2.

I was called weird, too sensitive, got a book on how to get a best friend, asked intrusive questions and mocked for my answers, treated in ways that I didn’t consent to and laughed at afterward, hid my interests and hobbies, tried to ignore terrible dysphoria, thought I was a gross person, etc.
“Male Socialization” of trans femmes isn’t a real thing. Invoking it just shows you’re a bozo trying to misgender us.
Trans people were never really socialized as our AGAB. At best, we were pressured to mimic norms that gave us dysphoria.
It’s an obvious TERF / Blanchardist dog whistle. Do better.

I finally have enough hair to mess around with different styles/partings. I read about how millennials and Gen Z differ on having a side part vs a middle part. Today I accidentally gave myself a side part while doing my hair, and it looks great! Here it goes with my skinny jeans and ankle socks.

one of the main reasons trans healthcare moved away from strict gatekeeping and toward informed consent & GAC is that trans ppl who were denied the means to transition would simply seek it out elsewhere

I watched Xena last night and it was the episode when she met her father. When Gabrielle attacked Xena near the end of the episode I gasped and yelled “Gabrielle!” and startled my cat. She was not responsive to my shock at what was happening in the episode.

The X-Files is genuinely a timelessly good show, because when not focusing on overarching conspiracy plot, they would really just focus on a single concept and quite crucially, it would cast an incredible actor to center the episode around who would be utterly god damn captivating to watch.
