It is appalling that a politician who tells lies to manipulate public opinion that causes harm to millions of people and an entire nation is considered acceptable and not criminal. Lying by politicians must become a criminal offence. See petition by Compassion in Politics.

Seems the majority of USA Democrat party politicians have not noticed that their centre-right position failed and paved the way for Mr Trump.
The truth should always be told but Labour failed until now.
This is the only pertinent point to be made, really.
She is telling an accurate story of recent history - the triple punch of austerity, Brexit and covid. It's spot on. But it is terribly strange to say it now in government when you were not prepared to say it in opposition.
