I haven't seen one single study that shows it's harmless to keep getting Covid again & again. But there are thousands of peer-reviewed studies that document long-term harms

Freya Emerson, 35, reportedly failed to respond to your casual request for a coffee as she didn’t know how to explain to you that she was overwhelmed and unavailable without making it sound like she didn’t like you – and has felt terrible about it ever since.

ME/CFS is a devastating condition that has long been denied, dismissed, psychologised and underdiagnosed. Research is at last starting to catch up with it, with glimmers of hope for those who have been left untreated for so long.

Their work has helped pave the way for new treatments for autoimmune diseases & ushered in an exciting era of cancer immunotherapy

And given that SARS-CoV2 can disrupt T regs, I'm guessing we'll be needing this science more than ever

The 2025 Nobel Prize in Medicine went to 3 scientists who uncovered how the immune system is kept in check by tiny "security guards" called regulatory T cells 🧬🥹

Here’s an explainer on what they are & how autoimmune disease & cancer can develop when they become dysregulated

When leaders say "there are more important things to focus on" than the current pandemic, they are saying that there are more important things to focus on than brain injury, organ damage, long term disability in kids, immune dysfunction etc - and that sounds totally absurd if you think about it

Let's be clear tho: Carney abandoned climate change policy as a cynical means to get elected, not because there are other crises.

A decade ago, Mark Carney gave a speech pointing out how biz and political leaders had no day-to-day incentive to address climate change, yet it was up to governments. Today, Carney is leading one, but finds himself consumed with responding to the many crises of the day thenarwhal.ca/mark-carney-...

"Blue medical masks and cloth masks are great at helping a sick person keep their germs to themselves. 🚨Only a proper fitting respirator, like an N95, KN95 or CAN95, protects the wearer from germs, especially diseases like COVID-19 and measles, which travel through the air."

500,000 people being slowly and quickly murdered, in this round, so Israel can take over Gaza and advance the project of erasing Palestine from the map and establishing their nation from the river to the sea.

I wish we could stop them. I feel so helpless!

It's a real gut punch when you see someone you thought was Covid aware maskless in the wild. This undermines trust. I try to be one person, online and offline

Nobody has Long COVID, but everybody has brain fog, cognitive decline and memory loss. I talk about the overwhelming scientific evidence that COVID damages the brain, and the overwhelming social unwillingness to acknowledge it in my latest:

They are obviously trolling me
