X devrait être bloqué en France. Nay.

Fun fun fun.

#hugOps story time! Quote this and tell me the biggest incident you ever saw in production. It’s inevitable, it’s gonna happen, and learning from incidents is way better than shitting on people trying to fix them.

I’ll start :)

Putting the Secret Service's nonsense framing aside, it's a pretty cool discovery. Those black boxes are SIM gateways which you plug sim cards into and they act like virtual cell phones. They then route the access over the internet so people can use the sim cards from anywhere in the world.🧵

Cloudflare just autonomously blocked hyper-volumetric DDoS attacks twice as large as anything seen on the Internet before — peaking at 22.2 Tbps & 10.6 Bpps. Can your mitigation provider’s scrubbing capacity handle that scale?
