I hadn’t updated here. I have a baby boy in the world. Arrived 4 weeks early and have us quite a scare, requiring an emergency C-section. He’s our miracle baby boy. Hes 4 days old now and he’s thriving. I can’t believe I’m a DAD

Watching Takopi with my social work lens has made the experience even more impactful. I appreciate how raw the material is and how brazen it is with the degree of hopelessness the characters feel. How toxic positivity can have negative implications despite good intentions. It’s gonna sit with me.

You want to know how to get some job security in this volatile industry? This is how. This right here. When you're in a union, if you get laid off, your layoff is NEGOTIATED, not just dropped on you as a traumatic event you have zero control over.
On July 2nd, Microsoft announced they were shelving an unannounced project at ZOS, a shock to over 200 of our devs working on the project.
However, despite discussions regarding the status of our employment, the fact is: we have not yet been laid off.

Having Sea of Thieves be the perpetual death march of Rare for over a decade now with no hope in sight for future endeavors has me wanting to launch 48,000 eggs at Microsoft.
BREAKING: As part of today's cuts, Xbox has canceled the troubled Rare game Everwild, according to people familiar. News on the job cuts is coming in drips — not sure why Xbox didn't announce it all at once — but I'll report what I can as I confirm it.

I have so much more to share but I’m back at work today. Needless to say, Final Fantasy pre release was a freaking blast and a major success for the pulls. Everything I could want and then some. Shoutout to my wife for pulling me the Sephiroth out of 2 Pre release winner booster packs.
